After many years of growing strawberries in the ground, we have started to grow strawberries in troughs. We call it aerial agriculture. Strawberry troughs are tied to posts 4 layers high and watered overhead. The soil is sea soil and lava rock mixture and organic fish fertilizer is used weekly. The results are clean large berries, no slugs, no mould and the berries hang like grapes and are very easy to pick standing up, instead of the back breaking way on the ground.

Many of our customers are using our idea of growing strawberries on their backyard fences for growing flowers, vegetables, and cherry tomatoes. Brilliant!
