Ostrich eggshells have many uses. They are the largest of all eggs, weighing
approximately 3½ pounds. It is equal to a 20 egg chicken egg omelette. An egg
takes 1½ hr to hard boil. Ostrich eggshells became famous with the notoriety of the Faberge Eggs that were made for Russian Royalty. At the farm we design and
produce decorated eggshells. Ostrich eggshells are also in great demand for local and international artisans.
